Think Carer – Carer Awareness Training

This training is for all professionals have contact with unpaid carers.

The training covers:

  • The role of the carer, the challenges and the impacts.
  • The importance and benefits of identifying and supporting adult and young carers.
  • Carers rights and the duty of professionals in Health & Social Care
  • Support available
  • Signposting & referrals

This training aims to give you some knowledge and tools to involve carers, so they, those they are supporting, and those they are working with, get the best outcomes and experience.

It takes about 45-60 mins.

A downloadable certificate will be available on completion of the training.
